Montana Master of Accounting students gain the knowledge needed to launch a career in the accounting field of their choice. You will improve your accounting proficiency and hone your technical skills in data and analytics through practical application of software programs such as Tableau and skills such as Robotic Process Automation. Our students can build their review for the CPA exam into their curriculum, saving time and stress when you start your career. We serve our mission of putting students at the center of all we do through exceptional career services, where you’ll receive assistance with everything from resume design, networking guidance and interview preparation. Our extensive network of dedicated alumni, long with guest speakers and recruiters will help you build your professional network.

Our students are highly sought by recruiters. We place nearly 100% of students following graduation and graduates of our program pass the CPA exam at a higher rate than the national average. We’re proud of our top-20 national ranking by the Public Accounting Report. The quality of our program doesn’t come with an outrageous price tag, either. Since many students receive some form of scholarship it makes an already affordable program even more so. You’ll get to know your classmates and faculty, while enjoying the stunning beauty of Missoula. The Montana MAcct is housed in the Montana College of Business and is nurtured by accounting faculty from the only separately AACSB accredited program in the state of Montana.
