About the Montana Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs (MADE)

MADE promotes and projects the spirit of entrepreneurship to all UM students and Montana entrepreurs through educational opportunities and special events.

The Montana Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs (MADE) is an affiliated program of the University of Montana School of Business Administration (SoBA).

MADE membership is comprised of entrepreneurs and individuals with experience of working with and advising entrepreneurs, such as angel investors, bankers, attorneys, and SoBA faculty.

SoBA and MADE collaborate to implement a year-long educational platform that guides aspiring entrepreneurs as they develop their business ideas, identify the knowledge and tools needed to build a viable business, and network with successful entrepreneurs.

Since 2002, MADE members have continued to bring their experiences to students and the classroom by producing, in concert with SoBA stakeholders, three educational programs and related events that enhance student access to entrepreneurship throughout the academic year.
