College of Business now offering a Business Certificate

MISSOULA – The University of Montana is now offering a Business Certificate to current students and community members through the College of Business. All courses can be taken online and the certificate can be completed in one year.

A business certificate is a great way to gain business knowledge, enhance your understanding of practices and become more marketable to employers. Sharpening skills through the UM Business Certificate program can provide an advantage, whether pursuing advancement in a current profession or seeking new opportunities.

Even with have years of experience, attaining professional credentials such as the Business Certificate at the UM College of Business could prove beneficial in a workforce where skills and education are central to meeting the challenges of the global marketplace. Workers need to keep their skills up to date throughout their careers to remain marketable.

The Business Certificate curriculum is also a direct pathway into the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Montana.

To be eligible for the Business Certificate program, students must have completed 60 college credits before applying.

Current students can apply for the Business Certificate program by contacting the Gianchetta Student Success Center. Non-current students can apply through the UM Admissions website.
