Spring 2020 Virtual Commencement
May 9, 2020
MISSOULA – The University of Montana class of 2020 should have been receiving diplomas on Saturday, May 9 at the commencement ceremony on campus. However, the unique circumstances of a global pandemic have forced the proceedings to take place online. In lieu of the in-person commencement ceremony, the UM College of Business has put together a virtual graduation to celebrate the 2020 graduates and their accomplishments.
The video features messages from UM President Seth Bodnar, Provost Dr. Jon Harbor and Interim College of Business Dean Suzanne Tilleman. The names of graduating students from the College of Business undergraduate and graduate programs are named individually.
UM graduation is built upon a foundation of memories, friendships, grit and treasured moments. Together, these experiences light the way to a bright future.
Along with the virtual commencement, each graduating College of Business student will receive a commencement packet in the mail and a shortened virtual commencement video that they can share with family and friends online.
The University of Montana is the flagship university of the state. The College of Business at UM is nationally renowned and has been named the top business school in the Big Sky Conference by U.S. News and World Report for four consecutive years.
