Masters of Accountancy program now accepting applications

MISSOULA – Are you ready to earn a world-class accounting graduate degree from the University of Montana (UM) College of Business? Potential students are encouraged to apply for the UM Masters of Accountancy (MAcct) program by Feb. 1 to receive priority scholarship and graduate assistantship opportunities for the 2020-21 year.
The MAcct program at UM ranks 20th among 130 programs in 15 western states, and 14th nationally among programs with 16 or fewer faculty members.
Graduates of the MAcct program are also successful professionals in organizations throughout the country. Nearly 95 percent of UM MAcct students land a job within the first three months of graduating.
Students in the MAcct program have passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam at a rate of 72 percent over the past five years, well above the national average of 50 percent.
Those interested in applying to the MAcct program can receive an application fee waiver during the month of January. Applicants will need to submit the intent to apply form in order to receive a fee waiver code that can then be entered at the end of the official application process.
