Personal Summary
Leah Diehl received her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Alabama and holds a CPA license in the state of Michigan. Prior to working in academia, she worked for Plante Moran, PLLC, specializing in real estate and construction tax issues. Her research uses qualitative and survey methods to explore accounting professionals' decision making. Professor Diehl currently teaches courses in taxation and managerial accounting and helps coordinate the University of Montana's Volunteer Income Tax Assistantship (VITA) Program.
