Career Development Events

The following types of events are scheduled by the Career Development office.  Some overlap may occur such as when an employer has a schedule listed under recruiter visits but also participates in resume critiques.  In addition, some of the events also qualify for in-class assignments. For specific details on classroom requirements, please visit the student assignments page.

Recruiter Visits: Employer representatives who are here for a recruiting visit tend to give guest lectures, hold office hours and participate in networking events when they can.

Workshops: These events include the resume critiques, practice interviews, LinkedIn setup, professional photo shoots and other opportunities to prepare for the job hunt.

Networking & Receptions: When multiple employers are on campus at the same time, a social may be scheduled as a meet-and-greet for students.

Employer Information Booths: Info booths are set up on the main floor of the business building and allow students to visit with employers about career paths and job options.
