MSBA Students in Las Vegas
Four of the 13 students in the inaugural cohort of the School of Business's Master's of Science in Business Analytics attended the INFORMS Business Analytics Conference April 2-4 in Las Vegas. Raelin Jacqueth, David Brewer, Brandon Staggs, and Dustin Monroe developed a strategy to showcase their skills developed during their program. While there, they met with companies such as Amazon, heard insightful presentations from companies such as Netflix, and benchmarked their technical and communications skills against students from other universities. Funds were provided by local sponsors, including ATG, PayneWest, and Computer Technology Group (CTG) as well as by the MSBA program through one of its partners, the Washington State Employees Credit Union.
These four students and their classmates will be the focus of a celebration on April 26th, from 5:30-7:30 at the Garlington, Lohn, Robinson community room, where they will be showcasing their capstone projects. Please RSVP here.
