"Shake-It-Out" Session Before Career Networking Reception Pays Off

Career Networking Reception

Last month the School of Business Administration Career Development program hosted a Career Networking Reception in the Gallagher Business Buildings piazza.

The Montana Information Systems Association (MISA) hosted a "shake-it-out" room before the event where students could ask questions and receive last-minute advice before talking to employers.

Local and global firms, both small and large, were in attendance. Firms such as Red Pill Analytics, LMG Security, ATG, PwC and FAST Enterprises set up tables at the event.

“We received awesome feedback about our students and the way they handled themselves,” said MISA Vice President Emily Eicholtz. “Students were able to make some strong connections with firms in which they had previously been interested or became interested in after the event,” she reported.
