Ambassador Sung Kim Speaks in International Business Courses
Ambassador Sung Kim, former U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Korea and current Special Representative for North Korea Policy at the U.S. State Department, made a visit to the University of Montana last month. He spoke on the subject of the Six Party Talks with North Korea over its nuclear weapons program to two sections of BGEN 360 (International Business) classes on Monday, Sept. 26.
Ambassador Sung Kim's visit this week was sponsored by the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center, and he gave a talk entitled "North Korea and Northeast Asia: Is Peace Possible?" on Monday, Sept. 26 as well.
In the coming months, Ambassador Kim will transition from his current role to become the next U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines.
