Schedule

Because of term dates & deadlines, the schedules for all the projects are somewhat constrained to fit within either the Fall or Spring academic terms. Please consider whether this schedule would work for the project you have in mind, as we have little flexibility in terms of due dates, etc.

Businesses can expect the following schedule throughout the semester:

Fall Semester

 Early to Mid-September – Initial contact with teams

September through November – In-depth sessions with teams to discuss your company, industry, problem, budget etc.

Late November to early December – Final report and presentations

Spring Semester

Late January to Mid-February – initial contact with teams

February through April – In-depth sessions with teams to discuss your company, industry, problem, budget etc.

Late April to early May – Final report and presentations

How do Businesses Apply for Assistance

Businesses in Western Montana are eligible for student projects.  To apply, click on the application link to submit a application.

Timelines and Deadlines

Projects are completed over the course of a semester.  The fall semester runs from late August to early December.  The spring semester runs from late January to early May. 

There are no application deadlines.  Businesses may submit project applications at any time for the following semester.  Applications are taken on a first come, first serve basis.

As a rule of thumb, applications should be submitted at least a month prior to the beginning of the semester.
