Advanced Entrepreneurship Seminar Series

Advanced Entrepreneurship Seminar Series at SoBA provides students with the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship concepts and skills directly from successful entrepreneurs who teach class sessions and discuss topics in their expertise.

This series provides graduate and undergraduate students with hands-on learning experiences that involve developing knowledge of entrepreneurship concepts and skills from MADE members, business experts, and SoBA faculty.

The seminars, available to all UM students, cover topics such as angel investors, venture capital, specialized government loans, bootstrap marketing, family businesses, and case studies.

These four weekend seminars are organized around management, legal, and financing issues likely to be faced by most start-up businesses. The mentoring relationships that develop through this program often last beyond the classroom.
