The mission of this chapter is to provide students of all majors the opportunity to enhance and increase their knowledge of the marketing field through networking, travel, and the opportunity to connect with successful guest speakers through our weekly meetings.
The UM chapter of the American Marketing Association was formed during the spring semester of 2017. The group was founded by driven students from several majors to increase their exposure and career opportunities in the marketing field. The national AMA organization was established over 50 years ago.
Joining AMA is a great way to travel, network, and learn more about career opportunities in marketing. It is also a great thing to put on your resume! To learn more, please visit our Facebook page.
AMA members are not required to pay any dues to the individual chapter, but must sign up with the national body in order to be officially included. Once you are a part of AMA, you have access to the incredible network of publications, professionals, and career opportunities.
Please contact AMA President Skyler Anderson at email@example.com or (406) 231-9723 with any questions!
Students are encouraged to be proactive and get involved while attending the University of Montana School of Business. Becoming an AMA member allows you access to a variety of networking and learning experiences that are exclusive to our club. These opportunities include weekly meetings that feature guest speakers who are professionals in the marketing field, the ability to travel to conferences nationwide to network with the most successful marketing agencies and departments in the world, and the most innovative and expansive content from AMA’s featured publications.
Alumni and local businesses can become involved with AMA by providing one of several of our levels of sponsorships, which come with a variety of different features. Opportunities include face time with bright, driven students, marketing opportunities on our banners, posters, and shirts, and a tax write-off.
Any questions about joining or sponsoring AMA should be directed to President Skyler Anderson.
