The University of Montana's 2006 Ad Team took second place at their regionals in Yakima, WA. "Pitching" to Postal Vault Systems, a locking mailbox manufacturer, they developed a $17.5 million dollar national campaign to raise mail theft awareness. Competition included Oregon, Portland State, Boise State, Washington State, Idaho State, Montana State, Idaho, and BYU Idaho.
Kelly Sprekelmeyer, Brie Schaeffer, Cody Kunning, Kristin Conroy, and Sara Starr presented the team's proposal. One of the judges was so impressed that he told the students, "If you'd have given me a contract to sign at the end of your presentation, I'd have signed it."
