Advanced Entrepreneurship Seminar
This
course, in its third year and available to all students
and scientists campus-wide, will provide students with the opportunity to learn
entrepreneurship concepts and skills directly from the
24 or more successful entrepreneurs who teach
class sessions and discuss topics in which
he/she has expertise. Course topics include
areas such as angel investors, venture
capital, specialized government loans,
bootstrap marketing, family
businesses, and a variety of other topics.
This year the course is divided into four separate seminars:
Seminar I: Growing and Marketing a New Venture, Seminar II: High-tech Start-ups and Legal Issues for
Entrepreneurs, Seminar III: Business Plan
Workshop, and Seminar IV:
Financing Entrepreneurial Ventures.
