Wikipedia.org :
Wikipedia is a communal encyclopedia that anyone
can edit and use for free. A "wiki" is a Website that
anyone with access to an Internet-connected computer can
edit simply by clicking on the edit this page link.
Begun in 2001, Wikipedia has rapidly grown into the largest
reference website on the Internet. A strength of its format (an
ongoing work to which anybody with Internet access can
contribute) is also its weakness: newer articles may not
be accurate. Users need to be aware of this in order
to obtain valid information and avoid misinformation which has
been recently added and not yet removed.
Globe
of Blogs - A weblog is a website with content that is updated on
a regular basis, usually with several entries on one page. The author records
thoughts, events and daily minutiae for others to read. There are so many
blogs, it's hard to keep track of them. This Website categorizes various
blogs.
RSS - Really
simple syndication is a type of technology that allows Internet users to
subscribe to websites that have allowed for the technology to pick-up, or
"syndicate" the content on their site and push it to others. In addition
to facilitating syndication, RSS allows a website's frequent readers to track
updates on the site using an aggregator. If you'd like to sign up for RSS
feeds, find an aggregator at:

Podcasting - Podcasting
refers to placing audio or video files on the Web for anyone to download/listen
to. It relies on a type of RSS technology. The subscription feed of
automatically delivered new content is what distinguishes a podcast from a
simple download or real-time streaming. Also, similar to blogging,
podcasting's essence is about creating content (audio or video) for an audience
that wants to listen when they want, where they want, and how they want.
There are various sites that list available Podcasts. Check one out at:
