Sandi Nelson

Director, Undergraduate Advising

Personal Summary

During Fall Semester 2012, Sandi Nelson joined the Advising Office as she transitioned from her former role as Management Information Systems Department Assistant to the School of Business Administration Advising Coordinator.

The University of Montana’s School of Business allows each student to take advantage of a wide range of diverse educational opportunities. Working with each unique individual is necessary to ensure the success they expect from an education at our institution. Sandi Nelson – a native of Medicine Lake, MT – came to The University of Montana in Fall 2005 and has since earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Accounting, a Certificate in Entertainment Management, and, in Spring 2011, a Master degree of Business Administration.

After working as a student worker in SoBA for 4 years as an undergraduate student, she returned in March 2011 to work with the Management Information Systems Department and transferred to Advising in Fall 2012. It is her goal to ensure that students get as much out of their education at the School of Business Administration as she did, and looks forward to an opportunity to encourage the next generation of graduates from the University of Montana.
