Personal Summary

Larry Gianchetta, Dean Emeritus of the School of Business Administration at The University of Montana, received his Ph. D. in Mathematical Statistics at Texas A&M University in 1975. In the summer of 1990, Dr. Gianchetta attended Harvard University and went through their Management Development Program. He was a visiting scholar at Nankai University in Tianjin, China, in the spring of 1992 and has also lectured at Toyo University in Tokyo, Japan.

Dean Gianchetta has served as a consultant to many companies, primarily in the areas of research and development - more specifically marketing research. He currently serves as: a board member of the Montana World Trade Center; a member of the Montana District Export Council; a member of Montana Ambassadors; a trustee of the Community Medical Center Foundation; a trustee of the William and Rosemary Gallagher Charitable Foundation; on the board of Blue Cross Blue Shield Montana.
