Undergraduate Management Information Systems Program
The Management Information Systems curriculum prepares students to manage an organization's information resources, analyze and manage the flow of information within and across the organization, effectively manage the acquisition and utilization of information technology, and use both information and technology to enhance the organization's strategic advantage. Information systems are a part of all organizational functions, including accounting, finance, marketing, operations, and human resource management. Employment opportunities are strong within the Information Systems field. Our MIS students are prepared for a variety of jobs, such as an IT consultant, systems analyst, programmer, database administrator, web developer, and network administrator.

The mission of the Management
Information Systems Department is to provide service courses in MIS,
quantitative analysis, operations management, and business law, and to equip
MIS graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to:
(1) Apply information systems and technology in an
organization
(2) Work effectively as an individual, a team member,
and a leader
(3) Communicate clearly and effectively within the MIS
team and the organization.
