Opportunity keeps knocking for accounting students

Over 80 accounting students attended the annual Montana Society of CPAs (MSCPA) Opportunity Night on September 15th. “Students come to the event polished, professional, and well-spoken. They know they need to talk to the employers. They know they have to present themselves in the best light possible,” stated MSCPA Communications Director Margaret Herriges. On September 14 Pearl Jam’s Management team visited MGMT 401 Event Management for a guest lecture on the release of a new record, touring schedule, and their personal experiences in the music industry. SoBA’s Career Development Program Offers Two New Workshops!

The School of Business Administration Career Development program has two new workshops to offer students this semester. UM’s own Cheryl Minnick will lead Unbeatable Cover Letters and How to Find an Internship and Succeed. Cheryl is an Internship Coordinator in UM’s Office of Internship Services.
