FOUR STEPS TO CAREER SUCCESS

This workbook is designed to supplement our Career Development Program. The process of career development can be broken down into four steps. Your chances of having your first career position lined up prior to graduation, knowing how to effectively manage your career, and successfully job search throughout your career will be exponentially increased if you follow these steps.

1. SELF ASSESSMENT

Interests (what you like doing such as working with computers or leading groups)
Personality (your individual traits, needs, motivation, and attitudes)
Skills (what you are good at such as writing or organizing)
Values (the things that are important to you such as helping people, building partnerships, etc.)
