The Small Business Institute at the University of Montana is a public/private program whose mission is two-fold:

• To assist companies in western Montana by providing students as business consultants.

• To educate business students at the University through hands-on consulting projects.

Participants are required to pay a fee for this program.

The Internship Program is intended to assist students in obtaining practical business experience that will complement and enhance the traditional educational process.  The experience should aid the student in the exploration of potential career opportunities and assist in clarifying his/her personal, educational, and career goals.
