SoBA's Business Programs
Students and businesses alike benefit from Experiential Learning Programs through the Small Business Institute, the Internship Program and others.
Small Business Institute The Small Business Institute at The University of Montana is a public/private program whose mission is two-fold:
- To assist companies in western Montana by providing students as business consultants.
- To educate business students at The University of Montana through hands-on consulting projects.

Internship Program
The Internship Program is intended to assist students in obtaining practical business experience that will complement and enhance the traditional educational process. The experience should aid the student in the exploration of potential career opportunities and assist in clarifying his/her personal, educational, and career goals.
