Lynda Brown has over 30 years of
experience in the field of human resource management and career development.
Lynda is an adjunct faculty member for the School of Business at the
University of Montana and teaches strategic human resource
management, business ethics, and organizational behavior in both the
undergraduate and MBA programs. Lynda independently consults and
trains on a variety of human resource issues, serves as an
expert witness in employment law cases, provides
executive/management coaching, and conducts workplace investigations. Lynda has previously
been the head of human resources for eLocal Network, Inc., St.
Patrick Hospital, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the University
of Montana, and Washington State University.
Lynda has a Ph.D. from Florida State University in
Higher Education Administration and is certified by the
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as a Senior
Human Resource Professional. Lynda is a member of
the Board of Directors for HRCI, the Human Resource
Certification Institute, of the Society for Human
Resource Management (SHRM) and past president of the
SHRM Foundation, a former chair of the national research
committee for SHRM, and as a member of a special task
force, helped develop a new ethics policy for the
Society's 180,000 members around the world. She is
currently working with SHRM in developing certification
and training programs for human resource professionals
in China.
Lynda has lived in Missoula for over 25 years and is married
to an equine veterinarian and has one son. She is
an avid skier, sailor, cyclist, runner and horse
enthusiast.
