PROFILE:
Dr. Keith Jakob is the Donald & Carol Jean Byrnes Professor of Finance, and he is an Associate  Professor of Finance. Keith studied at the University of Utah from 1987 to 2000.  He received a B.S. in Chemistry, a Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Finance. His research interests are in dividends, market-microstructure, corporate finance, IPOs, international finance, and mutual fund performance. 

Keith has published papers in prestigious journals including the Journal of Financial Economics, Financial Management, the Journal of Financial Research, the Journal of Empirical Finance, the Journal of Investing, the Global Finance Journal, the Journal of Performance Measurement, and the Case Research Journal. Keith also has forthcoming articles at The Financial Review and the Journal of Applied Finance. Away from the office, Keith  enjoys hiking, biking,  camping, fishing, kayaking, and hanging out with his wife Jody, his daughters Hannah and Mia, and his son Max. KEITH LOVES SKIING!
