PROFILE:
Dr. Harrington’s appointment
in the School of Business Administration demonstrates the School’s
commitment to bringing experiential learning and “business world”
experience into academia. “Having not come through the ranks of
academia, Michael had a steep climb to convince the selection
committee, faculty and staff of his ability to serve as one of their
leaders. After his interview, it was clear throughout the School
that he was the one!

in Butte; Director of MPC’s commodity risk department, Director of
MPC’s financial reporting department; and Touch America’s legal
department, where he served as Assistant General Counsel.
