Dr. Bruneau
received her B.S. in Sociology/anthropology (1977) and her M.B.A.
(1986) from Oklahoma State University. She received her Ph.D. in
Marketing with a minor in Anthropology (1996) from the University of
Arizona. She has been an assistant professor at The University of
Montana where she teaching Principles of Management, Consumer
Behaviors, and the graduate Marketing Management courses since 1995.
Before beginning her academic career, she worked for Battelle
Pacific Northwest Laboratory in Richland, Washington as a Marketing
Research Scientist.
Dr. Bruneau’s research focuses on consumer behavior, specifically
concerning how consumers interpret sensorial stimuli. A second
research interest is the use of qualitative research methods in
understanding consumers.
